What happens if I did not enrol before the start date of the course?

It is recommended to join up as close to the start date in order for students to pace themselves and cover all topics thoroughly throughout the year, however students can join at anytime throughout the year. Our courses are a combination of live online tuition sessions, pre-recorded video lessons and practice questions. Students can catch up on sections they've missed by watching the pre-recorded lessons and attempting the practice questions at any time throughout the year. The later in the year a student joins, the more live tuition sessions they will have missed and the more pre-recorded content they will need to catch up on. Depending on the number of students that enrol later in the year and our tutor availability, we may schedule additional ad-hoc live sessions to go over important topics that students might have missed if they've started later in the year.


Can I cancel my subscription at any time or am I locked into a contract for the duration of the course?

You can cancel your subscription at any time. All you need to do is send us an email requesting cancellation and you will not be billed for the following month. You will continue to have access to the system during the current month that you have already paid for.


If I cancel my subscription, will I get a refund of the money I have already paid?

If you cancel your subscription, you will no longer be billed for any future payments, however, you will not be refunded for months that you have already paid for and had access to our system. If you have paid for one month, you will continue to have access to the system until the end of the month even if you cancel anytime during that month.


Why do you only offer courses for Grade 8, 11 and 12?

Our philosophy is to focus on offering quality rather than quantity. We put a tremendous amount of effort into finding the best tutors, producing the best video lessons and offering the best service we can. We think our efforts are best spent where the need is greatest and the students are under the most amount of stress. We do intent to expand to other grades in the near future, but for now we are focused on helping students through their most stressful and critical period of studies.


How long are your courses?

Our courses run for a period of 1 year.


How does payment work?

Payment is done through an online subscription payment service. We use the PayFast payment gateway for secure transactions because it is one of the most well known and trusted, secure payment gateways in South Africa used by Takealot.com and over 80,000 other online businesses. All you need is any debit or credit card with a Visa or Mastercard logo on it. Your monthly payment is deducted on the same day every month until the end of the course or until you request the subscription to be cancelled, which you can do at any time.


Do you offer a free trial?

Yes. You are welcome to try out our service free of charge for one week without submitting any payment information. Just click on the enrol button and simply press "Cancel" before entering your payment information. You will still be registered on our Learning Management System and have access to the 1 week of content. During the free trial period, you will have access to the video lessons, but you will not be enrolled in the live tuition session. If you like what you see, you can continue the payment process from the dashboard screen and additional content will be unlocked. If you choose not to complete the payment after 1 week, your enrolment in the course will be cancelled.
